General information about iFinger search engine software.
The iFinger search engine software is required to enable your PC to run the iFinger reference look up functionality (dictionary). The search engine works together with the Dictionaries and finds the word you are looking for in the Dictionaries you have installed on your PC. You only need one iFinger search engine software installed on your PC regardless of the number of Dictionaries you have installed.
Important notice regarding change of policy.
iFinger is changing the policy regarding the pricing and the support of the iFinger search engine product, starting with release 3.0.
1. Major releases of the product will be available at a cost.
2. Free support for earlier releases of the product will stop one month after a new major release has been released to the market.
Important notice regarding the release of iFinger search engine version 3.0 for Windows Vista.
1. Customers already running iFinger (engine + dictionaries) with iFinger engine version 2.5 or less may carry on as usual. However, be ware that the support of older versions, (2.5 or less), will stop May 1st 2008.
2. Existing customers buying a new dictionary must upgrade to iFinger engine version 3.0.
3. New customers must buy one copy of the iFinger engine when buying iFinger dictionaries.
The price for the iFinger search engine version 3.0 is 20 €. If you purchase the iFinger search engine version 3.0 together with another product, there will be a discount of 10 €.
